Spider Vids and s10

Post by Kelly Mc »

I have an especially large and pretty Steatoda sp girl; living in my garage in a giant piece of driftwood.

Ive made some vids of her with different prey but seem to be missing some step in posting them here. It's a new phone and I am not adept beyond immediate utility with these things.

Any tips appreciated I know I'm missing the obvious here..

How are you trying to upload them? I don't think you can upload them directly to this site. YouTube, then link them perhaps? Can you at least share stills from the video while you figure it out?

Ah, thanks Chris. I have alot of photos of her. The videos came out so intresting though, like with bigger, stronger prey she bites and retreats until the venom takes its effect. And does other cool things.

It took her a couple months to do things out in the open.

Maybe i will do a youtube thing. I always thought it might be fun.

Thanks for the info Chris

I have a YouTube channel (search for "McMartinVille") that has a hodgepodge of WIDELY assorted natural history and flying stuff. I like doing time-lapse videos of my various flowers blooming.

It's fairly straightforward to upload videos to YouTube. Most of the work is on the front end (editing the video the way you like, etc.).

McMartinville was very cool. I watched Critters.

I loved the variety and approach.

After I finish my morning work I will watch the time lapse plants. Time lapse deserves rapt attention. Its like magnification. Its a master teacher.

Im enjoying the videos. Thanks for sharing this.

Please bear no slight at delayed response (you dont seem like you would) events and distractions happened but I did check out the channel at posting.

Edited but sincere was my weird compliment.

Nadia is still here. Though has been secretive.

Small progeny of hers is occasionally revealed where there are neglected cardboard boxes. Or sometimes one will just be seen crossing a surface in what seems to be not a great decision.
