Return to the forum and request for Florida tips

Post by mikez »

Hello everyone, I haven't been here for years. I kinda forgot about this forum. Truthfully I didn't realize it was still going.

I actually refound the forum while searching for Florida King information. I'm going to be in Palm beach county starting Monday. I'm going to be looking for anything and everything but kings would be my most coveted goal.

I already have a good idea in general how to look for them. I did read Hubbs book of course.

I'm looking for any further tips, suggestions, advice or encouragement. I'm going to be looking in the cane fields but never been. It looks intimidating. Any guidance would help.

Also any other tips for finding stuff in general.

I'm really excited about this trip. Hopefully I'll find something cool to post here.

Well I got no reply but I thought I would share one of thevtwo Florida kings I found on my trip back in April.

I get why no one uses the forum. Sucks trying to post pics.

Nice king! Did you flip it or find it out on the crawl?

I actually found two but I can't post a Pic of the second because my pics are too big.

The one in my Pic was flipped under a rock. The second was on the crawl at about 9 am.
