Without knowing locale, would you say this is a Desert Kingsnake or Mexican Black Kingsnake?

I would agree ,although faint the rings are clear which indicates the Desert King. The Mexican King is black and no strips .

Thanks to you both! I have seen people posting Mexican Blacks with some faint marking similar to this one. My buddy and I felt it was an intergrade, but figured we’d throw it out to the forum.

I think the strips are to substantial to be anything other than Desert King snake.

Leans Desert King, but looks like an intergrade from SE AZ, tho it could simply be a dull Desert king. Doesn't appear to have any Cali king influence so not technically a "Tucson King". Where was it found, generally?
